Authored By: Muhammed Yunus, notes by Stan Rowland
A social business is designed to meet a social goal, in Bangladesh to improve the nutrition of poor families in the villages of Bangladesh. A social business pays no dividends back to their investors. It sells product at the lowest prices possible which will sustain the business. The owners of the company can get back their investment over a period of time with no profit to them. All profits stay within the company to create new products and services.
