These Numbers Have Faces is committed to reversing academic inequality. We see opportunities for higher education as a key way to transform South Africa and confront the devastating effects of generational poverty. What we’re doing: Currently, TNHF has partnered with 20 year-old Anda Sozawe from the township of Gugulethu. Anda is the star defender for JL Zwane FC and is our first student to begin college. It is our hope that with a college degree, Anda will be able to provide for his family and transform his community in ways he never thought possible. In this great new video, Anda Sozawe offers his personal thanks to Westmont College Students for their substantial contribution to his first year of college.
