Betty’s profile

With four siblings born and raised in Nairobi Kenya, I loved singing in the choir at a tender age.  Later joining ‘Feed My Lambs’ Youth ministry, I had the privilege of traveling extensively in Kenya working in youth missions and challenge Weekends.

Primarily leading Worship and intercession.

In my teenage years, I led inter-denominational lunch hour worship services, which were held at the City Hall & Nairobi Cinema.

In 1998 upon arriving in the United States, I joined Love Center Church in Houston and worked as a worship minister which is where I met my husband Haywood.  Together we founded Cy-Fair Church a non denominational congregation in Cypress Texas.

I currently serve as  the worship director at Cy-Fair and serve with my husband in evangelizing the Cypress community.

Women of Principle is the women’s ministry at Cy-Fair Church.  I founded it to encourage, nourish and equip women.  Through this ministry, women have formed lasting relationships with Jesus and with one another.

Our monthly fellowships every fourth Saturday of the month are for prayer worship fellowship and Bible Study coupled  with an annual retreat and other activities.
